If we deliver outside the European Union, VAT is not applicable.
33rd edition of the Marzee International Graduate Show – on display until 30 October 2019
The annual Marzee International Graduate Show, is the highlight of our exhibition calendar, and has grown from a modest affair to an event unparallelled in size and scope. This year’s show presents a selection of jewellery and objects by this year’s graduates from art schools and academies from Europe, US, Asia and Australia. Galerie Marzee is unique in its support for emerging young talent and since 1986 the Marzee International Graduate Show has offered the best new graduates their first opportunity to exhibit in a world-renowned gallery. During the opening we will also award the Marzee Graduate Prize to this year’s most promising students.
Since 2016 Marzee wants to keep promoting the starting jewellery artists after the exhibition ends, and help them to find their way into the art world. With the Marzee for Starters project Galerie Marzee gives a selection of artists that have featured in the annual Graduate Show the chance to have their work on display in different exhibitions and fairs around the world, for a period of three years.
Every year the Marzee Graduate Prize is awarded to a selection of the most promising students.

PRESENT – 40 Years of Galerie Marzee To mark 40 years of Galerie Marzee we are showing three exciting new exhibitions over the summer, together entitled Present. For the first exhibition we invited each of our artists to make a new piece to be shown in the gallery during the anniversary events. This diverse collection of jewellery and objects will represent an insightful snapshot of the many faces of contemporary jewellery and metalwork in 2019. Alongside this we will also have an exhibition of small wooden boxes in which the artists and friends of the gallery will present a personal gift for Marie-José – a piece of jewellery, an object, image, letter… intimate memories and treasures that will eventually enter the Marzee Collection. The third exhibition will show, for the first time, the jewellery collection of Jur and Thea van Lee-Ellis which they gifted to the Marzee Collection Foundation. This year would have marked Jur van Lee’s 100th birthday and this exhibition, which shows the entire collection comprising nearly 400 pieces including work by Onno Boekhoudt, Warwick Freeman, Marion Herbst, Otto Künzli, Emmy van Leersum, Annelies Planteijdt, Lucy Sarneel and many others, is held in his honour.
The anniversary shows run from 9 June to 10 August 2019.
